Install:

INSTALLING THE CRANKCASE

1. Apply:
• Gasket Maker
Applying steps:
(1)Clean the matching surfaces of the
crankcase and cylinder body.
(2)Apply Gasket Maker
surfaces of the cylinder body and the
crankcase.
NOTE:
Do not allow any sealant to overflow from
the matching surfaces.
2. Install:
• Crankcase
NOTE:
Tighten the crankcase mounting bolts in
sequence and in two steps of torque.
Exhaust cover mounting bolt:
1st: M10 : 20 N•m (2.0 kgf•m, 14 ft•lb)
M8 : 10 N•m (1.0 kgf•m, 7.2 ft•lb)
2nd: M10 : 40 N•m (4.0 kgf•m, 29 ft•lb)
M8 : 20 N•m (2.0 kgf•m, 14 ft•lb)
