03.20. HOOK OIL SUPPLY

GENERAL:
The hook should always be supplied with enough oil. Too little oil supply of the hook
leads to increased noise and reduced seam quality. Too much oil causes pollution of
the sewing material.

Activate the ADJUSTMENT WIZARD
(02.04. / Page 17).
» until chapter 20 appears
on the display.
» confi rm.
Press the pedal.
During running of the machine put a paper
strip beside the hook with UTMOST CAUTION.
After 10 seconds the stripe should lightly be sprayed with oil.
To adjust the amount of oil turn the screw
Turn the screw counter clockwise out.
Turn the screw clockwise in.
» confi rm to proceed to the next point.
DESCRIPTION
INFO: Stitch length and top feed
stroke are set to 0 mm, Footlift
moves to 5 mm. Machine can be
controlled with the pedal up to it´s
maximum speed. The hook cover
protection is disabled.
