03. ADJUSTMENT

03.14. NEEDLE GUARD

GENERAL:
The needle guard should protect the needle from colliding with the hook point.
At stitch length 0 and in thread loop position the needle guard should slightly touch
the needle to the side during the passing of the hook point.

INFO:
Adjustment steps 03.11., 03.12. and 03.13. must be completed before!
Activate the ADJUSTMENT WIZARD
(02.04. / Page 17).

Turn the machine to the thread loop position.
Turn the screw 2 outwards until the needle guard
touches the needle
» confi rm to proceed to the next point.

DESCRIPTION
INFO: The pedal is blocked. During
turning by hand the display shows
the machine position in degrees.
Stitch length is set to 0 mm. The
tilt blocking mechanism is not
active.
