mbrace provides four transmission options:
automatic and manual emergency call

Roadside Assistance

telephone inquiries
R
Search & Send
R
Emergency calls
Automatic emergency call
An emergency call will be initiated
automatically following an accident in which
the Emergency Tensioning Devices are
triggered or the air bags are deployed.

Manual emergency call
To open, briefly press the cover of the SOS
X
button.
Press and hold the SOS button for at least
X
two seconds.
The indicator lamp in the SOS button
flashes until the emergency call has been
completed.
Wait until you are connected to the
X
Response center.
After completing the emergency call, close
X
the cover again.

While the emergency call is in progress,
Emergency Call Connected is shown in
the display. COMAND cannot be operated
during this period.
Complete details and additional information
on the emergency call can be found in the
vehicle Operator's Manual.
Roadside assistance
The F Roadside Assistance button is
located in the overhead control panel.
Press and hold the F Roadside
X
Assistance button for at least two seconds.
A call to the Mercedes-Benz Roadside
Assistance center is initiated. The button
flashes while the call is in progress.
