TRANSMISSION SERVICE
Type IV, Shaft Drive Transmission
Shaft Drive Transmission Disassembly, Cont.
11. Loosen front output housing pinch bolts.
NOTE: 1996 Model shown with pinch plate.
12. Mark housing and casting for reference when
reassembling.
13. Using 2 1/8" wrench (PN 2871701) unscrew the
front drive housing from the transmission casting
until O-ring is exposed 1/2" (13mm).
14. Remove bottom access plate.
