Clutch Bushing Removaillnstallation
8. Working from the top, install bushing removal tool
(Item 5) into center of clutch sheave with smaller
diameter toward bushing to be removed. See
illustration at right.
9. Install sheave onto puller.
10. Install nut onto puller rod and tighten by hand. Turn
puller barrel for further tension if needed.
11. Turn clutch sheave counterclockwise until bushing
is removed. Flip sheave over to remove wide
bushing, repeating steps 17. -20. NOTE: Apply
heat to soften Loctite™.
12. Remove nut from puller rod and set aside.
13. Remove adapters from puller.
14. Remove bushing and removal tool from adapters.
Discard bushing.
