TROUBLESHOOTING
Check items
Check the reproduction of the image
density.
Check the background reproduction. Adjust the background.
Check test print image (04-113).
Are the original glass, mirrors and
lens dirty?
Is the auto-toner sensor normal?
Is the toner supplied normally?
Is the high-voltage transformer out-
put defective?
Is the contact between the drum and
developer material normal?
Using the specified developer mate-
rial, toner and drum?
Have the developer material and
drum reached their PM life?
Is the storage environment of the
toner cartridge 35°c less without
dew?
Is the drum cleaned properly?
Is toner heaped on the seal of the
developer unit?

Prescription
Adjust the density.
Go to step 4 if there is any problem on
image.
Clean them.
Check the performance of the auto-toner
sensor and readjust.
Check the motor and circuits.
Adjust the output, or replace the trans-
former.
Adjust the doctor-sleeve gap and polarity.
Use the specified developer material, toner
and drum.
Replace the developer material and drum.
Use the toner cartridge stored in the envi-
ronment within specification.
Check the pressure of the drum cleaning
blade.
Remove the toner and clean the developer
unit.
