Explanation of the Touch Panel

(1) Basic Screen

• The Basic screen is the initial screen that appears when the copier panel is reset or auto
reset is activated.

1. Supplementary Function Key
• Selects the corresponding menu screen,
either Auxiliary, Density, Orig.
Basics.
2. Message Display
• Shows the current copier status, operat-
ing instructions, caution/warning mes-
sages, and other data including the
number of copies selected.
3. Basic Function Keys
• Allows the user to select the finishing,
zoom ratio, and copy paper.

4. Function Display
• Shows graphic representations of the set-
Copy, or tings currently made for Orig.
and Finishing.
5. Status Display
• Shows what is being done with the current
job and other data.
