2. FD
Requirement
1. The difference should be within ±1.0% of the actual length.
2. Adjust so that the following specifications are satisfied with a scale length of 200 mm.

NOTE
This adjustment must be made when the CCD Unit has been replaced and after the adjust-
ments of Registration (CD and FD) (Printer) have been made.
Adjustment Procedure
Specification
200 ±2.0 mm
1. Place a scale in parallel with the Original Length
Scale and make a copy.
Use the full size (X1.000) mode and paper with a
width of 200 mm or more.
If the scale is of plastic and transparent, place a
blank sheet of paper over it.

2. Measure the length of the scale on the copy to find
the difference.
If the difference is outside the specification, adjust
by following the procedure shown below.
