This command is supported after the platform version 4.6.02.
If there is no such specified area, this command can not be used.
This example describes how to configure the metric value of the
default route of the stub area as 5.
ZXR10(config)#ipv6 router ospf 1
ZXR10(config-router)#area 3 default-cost 5
area stub

area range

Use this command to configure the summary address range in the
area. Use the no form of this command to disable the configured
summary address range.

This command is only applied to the area border routers (ABR). It
is used for the combination computation for an area and summary
routes. The result is that an abstract route is advertised to other
areas by the area boarder router and routing information is com-
pressed at the area border.
If the specified area does not exist, it will be automatically created.
This example describes how to configure a summary route for an
area.
ZXR10(config)#ipv6 router ospf 1

it as a decimal value (0 ~ 4294967295) or
an IP address in the dotted decimal format
(A.B.C.D)
Default metric value, 0 ~ 16777215. 1 by
default.
