redistribute(BGP4+)

Use this command to redistribute the routes obtained from other
routing protocols into the BGP routing table. Cancel the redistri-
bution with the no form of this command.
Router configuration and address family configuration
redistribute <protocol>[metric <metric-value>][route-map

no redistribute <protocol>[metric][route-map]

This command is disabled by default.
This example describes how to redistribute routes obtained by RIP
into the BGP routing table in IPv6 address family configuration
mode.
ZXR10(config)#router bgp 1
ZXR10(config-router)#address-family ipv6
ZXR10(config-router-af)#redistribute rip

reset ip bgp

Use this command to soft reset BGP sessions.
Global configuration
reset ip bgp [vrf <vrf-name>][<ipv4-address>|<ipv6-address
>|<peer-group-name>]

vrf <vrf-name>
This command enables the neighbors which is already not in the
BGP session termination status. This command first disables and
then enables the BGP sessions in the active status.
This example describes how to soft reset the BGP sessions with
the neighbor 2000::1.

Protocol name: connected, static,
