ZXR10 Command Manual (IPv6 Volume)
dual-stack. You can specify the tunnel interface as the outgoing
interface of the route with command ipv6 route.
With the optional parameter - 6to4, the tunnel mode ipv6ip com-
mand defines an automatic 6to4 tunnel. The destination of the
tunnel depends on the global IPv4 address imbedded into the 6to4
address.
6to4 address is a combination of prefix 2002::/16 and 32-bit uni-
cast global IPV4 address. As a part of the prefix, the 32-bit IPv4
address follows 2002::/16 to compose a 48-bit 6to4 address pre-
fix.
A 6to4 tunnel must have an IPv4 source address. A static route
also needs to be configured, with the forwarding outgoing interface
as the tunnel interface.
This example describes how to establish a tunnel interface.
