Unpack the installation kit. You should have

these items:
(1) Transport Cover and thumb screw
(2) Emissions Bracket Assembly and two thumb
screws
(3) Guide Rail with docking brackets
(4) Staple Cartridge
6 Face the front of the printer and place the
Transport Cover on the top left side of the
printer. Make sure the lip on the bottom right
side of the transport cover is placed under the
connecting edge of the printer.
If your printer has the Duplex Module
installed, you do not need to remove it
in order to install the Transport Cover.
7 Align the tabs on the Transport Cover with the
appropriate slots on the edge of the printer as
shown.
Then gently pull the Transport Cover towards
the left edge of the printer until it snaps into
place.
