gunzip

Use gunzip to decompress a file.
Syntax
gunzip filename

filename: Specifies the name of the file to be decompressed. This argument must have .gz as the
extension.
Usage guidelines
This command deletes the specified file after decompressing it.
Examples
# Decompress the file system.bin.gz.

Before decompressing the file, you can display files whose names start with the system. string.
<Sysname> dir system.*
Directory of flash:
1 -rw-
472972 KB total (472840 KB free)

Decompress the file system.bin.gz.
<Sysname> gunzip system.bin.gz
3.
Verify the decompress operation.
<Sysname> dir system.*
