Check that there is no dirt or lint on the cleaning pads, and that there is no ink buildup.
Dirty cleaning pad
Clean the cleaning pad if it is extremely dirty.

If cleaning does not remove the dirt from the cleaning pad, replace the cleaning pad.

Important:
Clean the two different types of cleaning pads in separate containers. Cleaning them in the same container may
cause the cleaning pads to harden and prevent them from absorbing ink.

types of cleaning pads), tray, cleaning cloths, protective gloves, eye protection,
and protective clothing
