Network Encryption

Specify whether to encrypt network communications.
Click [Network Encryption] under [Security] to display the window.
HINT
When PaperStream NX Manager, Scanner Central Admin Server, and Scanner Central Admin
Desktop are used, the settings for each software and the settings for the scanner must be the
same.
For details, refer to the PaperStream NX Manager User's Guide, the Scanner Central Admin
User's Guide, and the Scanner Central Admin Desktop Help.
Encryption Off (HTTP)
This is a transmission method prioritizing the scanning speed.
This is the factory default setting.
Encryption On (HTTPS)
This is a transmission method prioritizing the security. The scanning speed is slow with this
setting.
[Apply to the scanner] button
Applies the configured settings.
