Set the area to detect barcodes on.
When a rotation direction of an image is specified for [Rotation], the detection area
is applied to the image after it has been rotated.
A barcode will be detected when the entire barcode appears within the defined
detection area.
- All area
Barcodes are detected across the entire area of a document.
- Top
Barcodes are detected across the top section of a document when the document is
divided into three sections.
The detection area across the top section extends 1 in. below the dividing line
between the top and middle sections.
This is the factory default setting.
- Middle
Barcodes are detected across the middle section of a document when the
document is divided into three sections.
The detection area across the middle section extends 1 in. below the dividing line
between the middle and bottom sections.
- Bottom
Barcodes are detected across the bottom section of a document when the
document is divided into three sections.
HINT
If barcodes fall across the dividing lines that divide a document into three
sections, select [All area].
