Optical Error (ADF)

If an optical error occurs in the ADF, the [Error] screen on the touch screen displays one of the
following error codes and the corresponding details and the solution.
Error Code
E2:74
E3:75
Take the following measures.
● Refer to Cleaning the Inside of the Scanner (ADF) with a Cloth (page 158)
● Turn the scanner off then back on.
If the problem still persists, write down the error code, check each item in
Scanner Service Provider (page 248)
this product. Refer to the contact information in the Contact List if supplied with this product, or
refer to the contact information in the Contact for Inquiries section if provided in Safety
Precautions supplied with this product, and then make an inquiry.

Operator Panel Error

If a touch screen error occurs, the [Error] screen on the touch screen displays the following error
code and the corresponding details and solution.

E6:D3
Turn the scanner off then back on.
If the problem still persists, write down the error code, check each item in
Scanner Service Provider (page 248)
this product. Refer to the contact information in the Contact List if supplied with this product, or
refer to the contact information in the Contact for Inquiries section if provided in Safety
Precautions supplied with this product, and then make an inquiry.
