more is detected and automatic adoption of
speed limits is activated, the new speed limit is
automatically adopted as the stored speed
(
page 248).
/
The driven speed is adjusted when the vehicle is
level with the traffic sign at the latest. In the
case of signs indicating entry into an urban area,
the speed is adapted according to the speed
permitted within the urban area. The speed limit
display in the driver's display is always updated
when the vehicle is level with the traffic sign.
If you are driving on German motorways and
there is no speed limit, the system uses the
speed stored for a stretch of road with no speed
limit as the set speed. If you do not alter the
stored speed on a stretch of road with no speed
limit, the recommended speed of 130 km/h is
adopted.
