The health of persons with limited tempera‐
ture sensitivity or a limited ability to react to
high temperatures may be affected or they
may even suffer burn-like injuries.
Do not touch the windscreen while the

windscreen heater is switched on.
Allow the windscreen to cool down
#
before touching it.
The windscreen heater will be enabled automati‐
cally if ¬ is activated on the climate bar on
the central display.
After the vehicle is started, the windscreen
heater is switched on automatically as required.

If the on-board electrical system voltage is
low, the function of the windshield heater
may be impaired.
Pre-entry climate control when the vehicle is
unlocked
Function of pre-entry climate control when
the vehicle is unlocked
The seats can be briefly pre-warmed or pre-
cooled before you get into the vehicle.
Depending on the vehicle's equipment, the fol‐
lowing functions will be activated as needed dur‐
ing pre-cooling:
