Vehicles with MBUX hyperscreen
Bring the vehicle to a standstill by pressing

the brake pedal.
On gradients, turn the front wheels so that

the vehicle will roll towards the kerb if it
starts moving.
Apply the electric parking brake.

Engage transmission position j in a station‐

ary vehicle with the brake pedal applied
( page 202).

Switch off the vehicle by pressing the

button.
Release the service brake slowly.

Get out of the vehicle and lock it.

% When you park the vehicle, you can still
operate the side windows and the panoramic
sliding sunroof for approximately four
minutes if the driver's door is closed.

When you operate or program a garage door
with an integrated garage door opener, per‐
sons can become trapped or struck by the
garage door if they stand within its range of
movement.
Always make sure that nobody is within

The vehicle has been parked outside the

garage or outside the range of movement of
the door.
The vehicle is switched on.

The vehicle has not been started.

available when the vehicle is switched on.
