204 Driving and parking
Only charge the high-voltage battery with
R
direct current (mode 4) if necessary.
Charge the high-voltage battery on average
R
to a charge level of 80%. Beyond a charge
level of 80%, the charging time is considera‐
bly prolonged.
If leaving the vehicle idle for lengthy periods,
R
park up the vehicle with a high-voltage bat‐
tery charge level between 30% and 50%. Do
not keep the high-voltage battery continu‐
ously connected to power supply equipment.
If leaving the vehicle idle for lengthy periods
R
of time avoid, if possible, high ambient tem‐
peratures.
Check the high-voltage battery's level of
R
charge every six weeks.
Charge the high-voltage battery if the charge
R
level is below 20%.
Do not disconnect the 12 V battery even if
R
the vehicle is left idle for a lengthy period.
Otherwise, the condition of the vehicle's
high-voltage battery cannot be monitored.
You can contribute to reducing the vehicle's
energy consumption in the following ways:
An anticipatory driving style (
R
Reduced use of electrical consumers
R
Having the vehicle regularly maintained
R
The charging time of the high-voltage battery
may change over the course of its life.

vehicle is equipped with one of the following
vehicle sockets.
You can charge the high-voltage battery with
both alternating current (mode or 2/3) and
direct current (mode 4).
