Duplex Unit

Duplex Drive

The Duplex Unit adds 2-sided print capability to the system. The following

illustration shows the location of components within the Duplex Module.

The print engine's Exit Roller, typically driven by the Fusing Motor during one-

sided operations, feeds media into the Duplex Option. For duplex operation, a

lever disengages the Fusing Motor from the Exit Roller, and engages the

Duplex Reverse Motor.
