Misfeed at the Document Transport Section

For detection of misfeed at the document transport section, the Paper Leading
Edge detection Sensor is not blocked even after the lapse of a predetermined
period of time after the paper feed sensor has been unblocked.
For detection of paper left at the document transport section, the Paper Feed
Sensor is unblocked and the paper leading edge detection sensor is blocked
when the power switch is turned ON, the cover is opened and closed, or a
misfeed or malfunction is reset.
