For detection of misfeed, the Exit sensor is not unblocked even after the lapse
of a predetermined period of time after it has been blocked by the paper. In
some cases, the Exit Tray Full sensor is not blocked even after the set period
of time has elapsed after the exit sensor has been blocked by the paper.
For detection of paper left in the exit section, the Exit Sensor is blocked when
the power switch is turned ON, a cover is opened and closed, or a misfeed or
malfunction is reset. For detection of paper loaded fully in the exit section, the
Exit Tray Full sensor is blocked when the power switch is turned ON, a cover
is opened and closed, or a misfeed or malfunction is reset.
