On a regular basis:
Check the LEDs on the craft interface directly above each MPC slot. The green LED
labeled lights steadily when an MPC is functioning normally.
OK
Check the OK/FAIL LED on the MPC. If the MPC detects a failure, the MPC sends an
alarm message to the Routing Engine.
Issue the CLI
show chassis fpc
shown in the sample output, the value
