5.1.3.6

Step

Execute a single step from a sequence in the LIST or WAVE mode.
the communication command [PROGram]:STEP <DSC>.
5.1.3.7

Continuous

Continuous flag provides the ability to skip the IDLE STATE (refer to Figure 5–1 and/or Figure 5–2)
after a sequence has completed. If Continuous flag is set ("1"), IDLE STATE is bypassed directly to
INITIATE STATE. If the ABORt command is given while Continuous flag is "1", the subsystem
transfers to the idle state.
or via the communication command INITiate:CONTinuous <Bool>.
If Abort (refer to Section 5.1.3.8) function is used while Continuous flag is set ("1"), system will
return to IDLE STATE (refer to Figure 5–1 and/or Figure 5–2).
5.1.3.8

Abort

Stop sequencer WAVE or LIST mode execution. Return sequencer system to idle state. Abort
function
is available via the Front Panel menu (refer to section 1.8) or via the communication
command ABORt.
Consecutive ON -> OFF -> ON function via Front Panel or a command has 200 milli-seconds
delay. Therefore, it is recommended to program power supply output to 0 volts instead of OFF if
fast sequence is required.
Refer to section 1.8 to operate the sequencer functions via the Front Panel. Refer to section
4.14.7 to operate the sequencer functions via communication commands.
If sequencer system is in the INITIATED STATE (following the INIT command or INIT function via
the Front Panel), power supply does not accept additional WAVE or LIST
voltage/current/time/dwell parameters. Use the Abort command prior applying new parameters.
If sequencer system is in the INITIATE STATE (following the INIT command or INIT function via
the front panel), power supply does not load previously stored sequences. Use the Abort
command prior applying new parameters.
Abort function
is available via the Front Panel menu (refer to Section 1.8)
