Removing the protective cover
About this task
The chassis ships with a protective cover installed over the air vents at the top of the port side of the
chassis.
CAUTION:
You must remove the protective cover on the port side of the chassis before applying
power to the chassis. The chassis can overheat if air vents are blocked with this cover.
Remove this cover by removing the Phillips screws securing it to the mounting bracket on each side of
the chassis.
