v Number of devices
v ISL and port states
v Number of switches in the fabric
3. Resolve any issues or unintentional changes to the device or fabric:
v If there are any mechanical problems, try reseating the associated component.
v If the configuration information is not correct for the device, modify as required.
v If other issues exist, contact your support provider.

IBM service replacement responsibilities

IBM System Services Representatives (SSR) are responsible for the physical replacement and labeling of
the chassis. The SSR performs the following tasks during the replacement:
