Figure 96 on page 229.

iPDU for director attachment
Note: This illustration is for locating the positions of the iPDUs only. The director door and cable
management trays are not installed, and the cables are not sufficiently organized. Refer to the appropriate
director installation and service guides for information on cable management.

Side-mounted iPDUs

iPDUs are located in the lower cutouts in the left and right sides of the rack.
Removing the side-mounted iPDU: Complete the following steps to remove the side-mounted iPDU
from the rack:
1. Follow the steps in "Director power-off procedure" on page 218.
2. Turn off power and disconnect the ac power distribution bus from the customer's ac power outlet.
Record the locations of the director ac power cables that are plugged into the iPDU.
3. Unplug the director ac power cables from the iPDU.
