Rear seat (tip-up seats) (if

equipped)
Forward and backward
To move the seat forward or backward:
1. Pull the forward and backward
adjustment lever up hold it.
2. Adjust the seat to the position you
desire.
3. Release the lever and make sure the
seat is locked in place.
Seatback angle
To recline the seatback:
1. Pull the folding strap located on the
top or outside of the seat and hold it.
2. Adjust the seat to the position you
desire.
3. Release the strap and make sure the
seat is locked in place.

Stowing the rear seat (4th row seat)
The rear seat can be folded and stowed
in the luggage compartment to provide
additional cargo space.
To stow the rear seat:
1. Insert the rear seat belt buckle in the
pocket between the rear seatback and
cushion, and insert the rear seat belt
webbing in the
guide to prevent the seat belt from
being damaged.
2. Move the front seats forward if
necessary to avoid interference with

the front seats.
CAUTION
• After relocating the seat, make sure
the seat is locked in place by shaking
it forth and back.
• When using a seat belt, be sure to
return the seat belt plate and buckle
to the original position.
• When folding or unfolding the seat,
adjust the front seat by pulling it
forward enough so that it does not
touch the rear seat. If the seats touch
each other, the touching part may be
damaged.
