Storage and Framing of Works of Art
When you have successfully created a work of art as you wish, store or display it appropriately.
Notes on Storing Works of Art
Degradation of works of art is mainly caused by light and air. Try to minimize exposure to light and air.
Increase airtightness by storing in albums, framing, etc.
Avoid storing or displaying in places subject to strong light such as direct sunlight
Control the humidity so that the works of art do not absorb moisture
For important works of art, create multiple copies and use separate copies for display and storage
Although none of the above measures are perfect, appropriate storage is important for extending the
lifetime of works of art.
Framing
Framing has the following advantages.
Makes the work of art more attractive
The work of art will stand out more if a frame that matches its intent is applied. Apply a frame
suitable for the place where the work of art is displayed or the atmosphere of the work of art.
Protects the work of art from degradation and damage
It helps protect the work of art from damage caused by physical contact or water.
Notes on Framing
Be aware of the following when working on framing and during display.
Dry the work of art for 24 hours or more before framing it
Do not use acidic or adhesive laminate film
When using a glass cover, avoid its direct contact with the photo
White parts may turn yellowish when UV protection coating is sprayed
