Notes on the Environment for Monitor Installation

Monitor hood

When light shines on the display directly, contrast decreases affecting the color tone. By

installing a monitor hood, influence of outside light can be reduced. While purchasing a

universal hood is an option, a self-made hood is also effective enough.

Desktop background

When a colored background such as an image is used for the desktop, it may affect your

sense of color. It is recommended that you set the background to gray on monitors for

viewing images.
