Black and White Printing
In Print Studio Pro, you can easily print black and white photos in high quality by selecting the Print
Black and White Photo checkbox.
On Canon PRO series inkjet printers, you can perform black and white printing suitable for black and
white photos. When the Print Black and White Photo checkbox is selected, a stable gray balance is
achieved since more gray ink and black ink are used compared to color printing, and you can print black
and white photos with rich gradation and little color shift.
Printing Black and White Photos in Black and White
Print photos shot in black and white or images converted to black and white in image editing software, in
black and white, in Print Studio Pro.

1. Prepare a black and white photo.

Tip
Adjusting Black and White Photos
It is recommended that you use image editing software to make adjustments
(conversion of data to black and white, brightness adjustment, etc.) other than
black and white color tone adjustment.
