For some Canon printers, printer calibration can be performed by using Color Management Tool Pro.
The flow of printer calibration is as follows.
1. Print a chart.
Specify print settings according to the printer and paper to be used, then print a chart.
2. Calibrate the measuring instrument.
Prepare a measuring instrument.
3. Enter print settings.
Enter the print settings described in the printed chart.
4. Measure the chart.
5. Calibrate the printer.
Calibrate the printer based on the measured data.
ICC Profile Creation Function
In Color Management Tool Pro, users can create custom printer ICC profiles. The flow of ICC profile
creation is as follows.
1. Print a chart.
Specify print settings according to the printer and paper to be used, then print a chart.
2. Calibrate the measuring instrument.
Prepare a measuring instrument.
3. Enter print settings.
Enter the print settings described in the printed chart.
4. Measure the chart.
5. Create an ICC profile.
Create an ICC profile from the measured data.
