Occupant safety

Headgear and goggles

Risk of accident and injury
You can be hit by dust, stones and other ob-
jects when driving. This could cause injuries
and/or an accident.
All occupants must therefore wear suitable
goggles and headgear, e.g. the leather hat
that comes with the vehicle.
However, do not wear a safety helmet when
driving. A safety helmet would impair the ef-
fectiveness of the restraint systems during
an accident and could therefore cause inju-
ries.
