Opening and closing

Do not pull on the Airbrake to close the boot
lid. Otherwise, the Airbrake or the trim panel
could be damaged.

Do not place the key in the open boot. You
could lock yourself out.

If the vehicle had previously been centrally
locked, it is only necessary to close the boot lid
again. It will then be locked automatically. The
turn signals flash three times.

Boot lid emergency opening
Emergency opening switch
The emergency opening switch flashes for:
30 minutes, after opening the boot
60 minutes, after closing the boot
Briefly press the emergency opening
switch.
The boot lid unlocks and opens slightly.

The boot lid does not open if the consumer
battery is flat or disconnected

The alarm system is triggered if you press
the emergency opening switch after having
locked the vehicle centrally from the outside. For
how to switch off the alarm ( page 95).
