Driving systems
Risk of accident
Do not use cruise control:
if road and traffic conditions do not per-
mit a constant driving speed to be main-
tained (e.g. heavy traffic or winding
roads). You could otherwise cause an
accident
on slippery road surfaces. The drive
wheels may lose their grip when braking
or accelerating and the vehicle could
skid
when visibility is poor, e.g. in fog, heavy
rain or snow

1 Stores the current speed or a higher
speed
2 Stores the current speed or a lower
speed
3 Switches off cruise control
4 Resumes the last speed stored
5 Switches between cruise control and
variable Speedtronic
6 LIM indicator lamp
Selecting cruise control
Check whether cruise control is
switched on. The LIM indicator
lamp 6 is not then lit up.
Otherwise, press the cruise control le-
ver in the direction of arrow 5.
The LIM indicator lamp 6 in the cruise
control lever is off. Cruise control is se-
lected.
Storing the current speed
Accelerate/decelerate the vehicle to
the desired speed.
Press the cruise control lever briefly up
or down.
The stored speed appears in the mul-
ti-function display.
