Storing a new speed
Press the cruise control lever briefly in
the direction of arrow 1 ( page 164).
The speed displayed is stored.
Speedtronic rounds the speed up to
the next multiple of 5 mph (10 km/h).
or
Press the cruise control lever briefly in
the direction of arrow 2 ( page 164).
The speed displayed is stored.
Speedtronic rounds the speed down to
the previous multiple of 5 mph
(10 km/h).
The stored speed appears in the mul-
ti-function display.

Speedtronic may be unable to prevent the
limit speed from being exceeded on downhill gra-
dients.
If this happens a signal sounds and you will see
the message Limit exceeded in the mul-
ti-function display.
Then apply the brakes yourself if necessary.
Resuming a stored speed
Press the cruise control lever briefly in
the direction of arrow 4 ( page 164).
If the road speed is no more than
20 mph (30 km/h) above the stored
limit speed, Speedtronic will limit the
vehicle's speed to the last limit speed
stored.

the direction of arrow 2 ( page 164).
