Risk of accident
Never leave children unsupervised in the ve-
hicle. They could release the parking brake.
This could lead to a severe or even fatal ac-
cident.
Pull lever 2 upwards slightly, press re-
lease knob 1 and guide the lever fully
down.
The 3 warning lamp in the speed-
ometer goes out.
Pulling away
Depress the brake pedal and keep it
depressed.
The selector lever lock is released.
Move the selector lever to position D
or R.

Do not select reverse gear unless the vehi-
cle is stationary. Wait for the shift process to
complete before pulling away. Otherwise, the
transmission will be damaged.
Release the brake pedal.
Carefully depress the accelerator
pedal.
The vehicle will lock itself centrally
once you have pulled away.
