Automatic transmission
Upshifting
Pull paddle 2 on the right of the steer-
ing wheel.

Press the selector lever briefly to the
right towards D+.
The transmission shifts to the next gear
up. The current gear position appears
in the right-hand multi-function display
( page 117).
If the gearshift warning lamp > lights
up in the speedometer, shift up one gear.
The petrol supply will otherwise be cut off
to prevent the engine from overrevving.

Do not change down for additional engine
braking on a slippery surface. The drive
wheels can lose their grip and the vehicle
