Setting Up the XT Series Hardware
- Insert it in the HD1 input of XT Codec Unit. Note the placement of the HD1 input in
the XT7000 series
• Using the VISCA and Power Cable (3), provided with the Codec Unit:
- Insert the 8-pin connector in the Tracking camera TC220 RS-232 socket (4)
- Insert the power connector in the Tracking camera TC220 DC IN 12 V socket (5)
- Insert the VISCA connector to the XT Codec Unit VISCA socket.
5. (Optional) Alternatively, to connect the Tracking camera TC220 with the XT7000 series as
a second (main) camera, for instance to reserve HD1 as a presentation source on the
XT7000, connect the HDMI cable to the HD2 input and connect the VISCA cable as shown
in
Figure 31: Connecting the Tracking camera TC220
6. (Optional) Alternatively, to connect the Tracking camera TC220 with the XT7000 series as
a second camera cascaded (daisy-chain) to the first one, connect the HDMI cable to the
HD2 input and connect the Tracking camera TC220 with its own power supply. You need to
use a crossed VISCA cable to cascade the first camera to the Tracking camera TC220.
You can only cascade the Tracking camera TC220 to other cameras if it is the last one in
the daisy-chain.
7. Ensure that the power switch (ON/OFF selector) on the Tracking camera TC220 is on.
8. Turn on the XT Codec Unit.
