Asterisk
XT Series supports IOT with Asterisk 16.5.0 & FreePBX 14.0.13.4. The system can operate with
Chan SIP and PJSIP interfaces.
The XT Series automatically adapts its behavior to interoperate with the Asterisk server.
• This automatic adaption is based on searching for the default "Asterisk" product strings in SIP
messages. If the default "Asterisk" product strings are changed, this mechanism does not
work. In this case, you should manually specify the "Asterisk" server-type in the SIP setting
section.
• If the Asterisk SIP module is listening to different legacy ports (5060,5061), the XT Series can
set the specific port. It adds it to the server address in the SIP server configuration field. For
example: "asterisk_address:asterisk_port"
Basic SIP Features
The XT Series supports the following SIP transport types: UDP, TCP, TLS.
