Step
1 Determine the cabinet and shelf location of the Network shelf to be installed.
2 Unpack and inspect the shelf.
3 Remove the existing left or right rear Intelligent Peripheral Equipment (IPE) shelf
(if required).
4 Install the additional Network shelf in the IPE (Step 3) location.

Install a QUD15 cooling unit directly below the Network shelf and secure with four
mounting screws.

CAUTION
Service Interruption
Do not place the circuit cards in the shelf until Step 7 is
completed.
