6-9. Installation of the Tape Drive
(4) Align the VTR (or tape drive) with the positioning
holes of the stage and install the VTR (or tape drive).

(5) While pushing the lock levers on the right and left rails
of the drive stage, push in the drive stage.

(6) Tighten the two fixing screws of the drive stage.
(7) Close the drive stage panel and fix it with the two
screws (with drop-safe).

3. Installing in the top stage of the drive stage

The top stage of the drive stage is occupied by the bin
assembly when shipped from the factory. To install the
tape drive in the top stage, be sure to remove a parts of the
bin assembly to make room in the depth.
The required installation work remains the same regardless
of the size of cassettes.
When installing the second VTR drive
Remove the bin assembly of 1.
(1) Open the rear door while referring to Section 6-5.
(2) Remove the five screws (PSW4 x 8) with a screwdriv-
er (long shaft type) and remove the bin assembly.
