2. Installing in the top stage of the drive stage
Before installing the tape drive in the top stage, remove the bin assembly and the side bin plate that occupy
the space of the tape drive. Then, install the tape drive in the top stage in the same manner as the bottom
stage.

The top stage of the drive stage is occupied by the bin assembly when shipped from the factory. To
install the tape drive in the top stage, be sure to remove the bin assembly and a part of the side bin plates
to make room in the depth.
(For the models supporting Package, the bin assembly and the side bin plate are already removed before-
hand, and do not need to be removed.)

When installing the fourth tape drive
Remove the two side bin plates of 1 and the bin assembly of 2.
When installing the fifth tape drive
Remove the two side bin plates of 3 and the bin assembly of 4.

When installing the sixth tape drive
Remove the bin assembly of 5.
