6-3. Removal of the Shipping Metal Fixtures
3. Move the carrier assembly to the position to facilitate
replacement work. Fix the carrier assembly by
inserting a screwdriver or the like into the Y-rail.

. Do not apply excessive force to the drive block or
fragile parts (hand assembly, belt, etc.) that can be
easily damaged.
. Be careful not to pinch harness between screwdriver
and carrier assembly when carrier assembly is going
to be fixed at the desired position on the Y-rail by
inserting a screwdriver or the like.
. Be sure to remove the screwdriver inserted into the
Y rail after replacement is complete.

4. Temporarily fasten the two hexagonal head cap bolts
removed in step 1 in the position shown below.

Removal
1. Remove the two hexagonal head cap bolts (a), loosen
the two hexagonal head cap bolts (b), then remove the
shipping metal fixture (X) on the upper side of the
transfer assembly in the direction of the arrow.

2. Fasten the two loosened hexagonal head cap bolts (b).
3. Attach the two removed hexagonal head cap bolts (a)
to the shipping metal fixture (X).

Be careful of the attaching directions of the bolts.
