2. Installing in the bottom stage of the drive
stage
(1) Remove the drive stage panel while referring to
Section 6-5.
(2) Loosen the two fixing screws of the drive stage and
pull out the drive stage until the lock levers of the right
and left rails are locked.

(3) The holes of the drive stage that are used to fix the
Lock lever
tape drive or the VTR, are different depending upon
the drive whether it is tape drive or VTR. Use position
1 when the tape drive is installed, and use position 2
when the VTR is installed. If the blind plate hinders,
move the blind plate by turning it upside down for the
correct position.

The heights of the slide supports are already set to the
specified heights in each position. However, the blind
plates need to be fixed at the correct positions.
