Step 18 : Uninstall the Heat Sink.
a. Locate the failed Heat Sink.
b. The Heat Sink must be removed by loosening the Torx T30 screws in a specific order. Use
the following diagram to determine the specific order.
c. Slide the Heat Sink clear of the socket alignment pins.
Step 19 : Remove the CPU from the Heat Sink.
a. Locate the seam that connects the CPU and Heat Sink.
