1 Check the paper condition.
Is the paper in the Tray 2 wrinkled or
damaged?
2 Does the error still occur when
printing?
3 Load new paper in Tray 2.
Does the error still occur when
printing?
4 Check the Front Cover for latching.
Open and close the Front Cover, and
then latch correctly.
Does the error still occur when
printing?
5 In the Printer Mode Diagnostic tests,
check Tray2 PathSensor in Engine
Diag > Sensor Test.
Does the number on the screen
increase by one, when the actuator
(Registration Input Actuator) is
operated?
